Membership Campaign

Last year was a great year at LACU with our annual Picnic, improving our communication to help you keep track of community events, and supported events from Coro Latinoamericano, Latina Productions and more!

Our records show that your membership expired on August 2015, and we want you back! Here are 5 reasons why youshould renew your membership:

1. Get to Know Us!

Want to know more about what LACU does? Have burning questions about the Latino community in Pittsburgh? LACU has changed over the time, mostly because the community has also changed over the time. We have new initiatives, new benefits to our members and more reasons for you to become a member!

2. Get Connected!

LACU has been around Pittsburgh for almost 30 years, so we know people! Not only that, but we are also promoting the collaboration with other organizations in the region. This collaboration initiative helps to increase our outreach and theirs. So whether youhave a community event or business idea, you would like to get guidance on where to start your network or how to grow roots in the Latino community in the Pittsburgh region, we can get youconnected!

3. Be the First to Know!

Throughout the year, there are numerous Latino-related events, opportunities and announcements that you would not want to miss! By becoming a LACU member (or renewing your membership),you will be the first to know! Your will receive announcements directly to your email, participate in forums, and even welcome Latino newcomers to the region

4. Help us achieve mission!

Your annual membership fee and donations helps us to executive free or low cost initiatives and events for you and your family. In addition, it helps us to utilize technologies to better increase the visibility of our Latino community in the region, as well as to provideyou with better member benefits. 

5. Get Involved!

You have skills; we know you do! And with your skills, you can contribute to our mission by committing to one of our volunteering positions. Everything we do at LACU, from the social media messages, to the website, to the social events, is being done by volunteers. You could be a contributor too! We are looking for webmaster, program coordinator, writers and general volunteers. Ifyou are the kind of person that has many ideas, this is a place to use them as your contribution.

·    If you will renewyou membership by sending a check, please let us know by sending an email to our membership coordinator ivan@lacunet.org. That way, we can be in the look for your payment.
